Michelle Manning is an accomplished marketing executive who has shaped the brand vision, strategy, advertising, and promotional programs for numerous household names across multiple industries and verticals over 20 years of executive experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods and Toy industries.
Most recently, Michelle was the Senior Vice President of Marketing for Bendon Publishing, one of the largest publishers of coloring books and activity products in the U.S. with over 80 high profile licensors. Prior to her C-Suite role at Bendon, Michelle led the Marketing Department at Elmer’s Products, Inc. for over 5 years, where she was instrumental in launching the first outbound licensing initiative for Elmer’s and X-Acto brands, resulting in $3M in new branded real estate at retail within 2 years. Prior to this executive role, Michelle was Director of Marketing for GiddyUp, a $50M activity and toy division of Elmer’s, where she oversaw marketing strategy and managed multiple licensed product launches. Michelle prepared for these executive roles at Elmer’s through developing her licensing expertise over 11 years as brand manager for multiple portfolios, including an arts and crafts portfolio. During this time, Michelle drove Elmer’s first entry into high-value licensing agreements with world-class brands Nickelodeon, Hasbro, Sanrio, and Disney.
Throughout her career, Michelle has fostered strong relationships across key industries and is recognized as a strategic thinker, accomplished marketing executive, and licensing leader. Michelle has a BA degree from Fordham University in New York, NY and an MBA from the Fisher School of Business, The Ohio State University.
