 We’re extremely proud to debut the diverse new offerings for girls this year,” said Gina Beebe, Senior Vice President of Girls Marketing, Playmates Toys. “These new products are a perfect combination of education and entertainment for parents who are looking for unique and interactive ways to expose their daughters to products that go beyond the usual idea of play. For example, the Hearts for Hearts Girls doll line is an excellent way for parents to teach their daughters about different cultures and how they too can become agents of change in their communities, their countries and around the world. A charitable doll line and fashion collection from Playmates Toys, the Hearts for Hearts Girls has quickly been growing in popularity and will be introducing three new dolls at Toy Fair. Each doll in the line represents a real girl from a real place around the world, and each has a story to share. The new additions to the line represent the Navajo Nation, Brazil and New Orleans, and all nine dolls in the line come to life with a fully interactive website that lets girls discover different cultures, hear about girls just like them and learn how they too can make an impact, since girl power is global. A portion of each doll sale is donated to a non-profit organization that helps children from that doll’s country. Playmates Toys is working with non-profit partner World Vision to make this happen. |
